【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsandguidanceonthesamplingofwaterandrelatedmaterialsfordeterminationofthepresenceoforganismsofthegenusLegionella.Itisapplicabletosamplingartificialwatersystemsandalsogivesmethodsforsamplingofbiofilmsandsedimentsthatmightbepresentinwatersystems.Someofthesamesamplingprinciplescanbeappliedtonaturalwatersystems.Thestandardisapplicabletobothsamplingforroutinemonitoringandinoutbreakinvestigations.Forthelatter,recommendationsandguidanceontheselectionofsamplingpointsaregiven.Therationalefortheselectionofsamplingpointsforparticularsituationsisalsodiscussed.ThisBritishStandardisintendedforusebyallthoseinvolvedinwatersamplingforlegionellaeincludingthepersonstakingsamplesonsiteandtheiremployers.
