【摘要】:ThisBritishStandarddescribestwoalternativemethodsforevaluatingthebuoyancyandflotationofcraftvulnerabletoswampingorsinkingaftersustaininglocalizedimpactdamagetocertainpartsoftheirflotationelements:a)aphysicaltest;andb)anequivalentcalculation.ThisBritishStandardisapplicabletoboatswithhulllengthsofuptosixmetresthathavebeenassessed(andcategorized)forstabilityandbuoyancyinaccordancewithBSENISO12217-3:2002;options1,3,6,7,8or9,andexcludes:—aquatictoys;—canoes,kayaks,orotherboatswithabeamoflessthan1.1m;—inflatableandrigid-inflatableboatsuptoeightmetrescoveredbyBSENISO6185;—personalwatercraftcoveredbyBSENISO13590;—hydrofoilsandhovercraftwhenoperatinginthedynamicallysupportedmode;—submersibles.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotincludeorevaluatethebuoyancyortheeffectsontheflotationofcraftinmultipleorseveredamageconditions.
